Hi! I'm Liz Simpson.

I have always appreciated the artistry that goes into professional portrait photography, but I never thought I would actually be the someone behind the camera!

My background is in social work, and I've focused my professional career on supporting victims of violent crimes. I have seen the bad and the ugly, and photography gives me a chance to focus on the amazing beauty of people.

Though I had appreciated photography from afar, I finally reached for a camera when my son was born and (thanks COVID) I wasn't able to safely have a newborn photographer come into my home. Through trial and error and LOTS of classes and mentoring, I learned everything I could about taking beautiful images your family will love!

My style is a mix of true color, bright, modern imagery and classic black and white. I lean towards a painterly texture in my images, allowing your photos to be proudly displayed as works of art!
